Carvana grows Southwest presence

Online used-car retailer Carvana kicked off the new year by deepening its presence in New Mexico and Arizona, the company announced this week

The Tempe, Ariz.-based company launched next-day vehicle delivery to residents in Santa Fe, N.M., and Sierra Vista, Ariz. These two cities bring Carvana’s footprint with next-day vehicle delivery to 147 markets across the country, nearly doubling in the past year the number of markets in which the service is offered.

In December 2018, Carvana offered next-day delivery in 85 markets; prior to the Southwest expansion, Carvana in September entered five additional markets in Florida and three in Tennessee.

“As we grow our presence in the southwest, Santa Fe is instrumental in bringing our transparent car-buying solution to more and more customers,” Chief Executive Ernie Garcia said in a statement.
